1. Introduction
ZutaNow (“we”, “us”, “our”) is an online marketplace that connects buyers and sellers across Nigeria, enabling the sale and
purchase of goods and services through www.zutanow.com and our mobile platform.
These Terms and Conditions apply to all users (buyers and sellers) and govern your access to and use of the ZutaNow platform.
By using our marketplace, you agree to these Terms in full. If you do not agree, you must not use the platform.
If you are using this platform on behalf of a company or organization, you confirm that you are authorized to bind that entity to these Terms.
2. Account Registration
Only individuals who are 18 years and above may register and transact on ZutaNow.
Users must:
– Provide accurate registration information.
– Keep passwords secure.
– Take responsibility for all activities that occur under their account.
ZutaNow may suspend or terminate your account for breach of these Terms without notice.
3. Terms of Sale
ZutaNow facilitates transactions but is not a party to the sales agreement between buyer and seller (unless otherwise stated).
Product listings must:
– Include accurate prices, including applicable taxes.
– Clearly state delivery fees (including if flat-rate or negotiable).
– Reflect actual descriptions and quality.
Delivery is typically within 3 days. A ₦2,500 flat-rate delivery fee applies, but if actual delivery cost exceeds this,
buyers and sellers will mutually agree on the final fee with the rider.
4. Returns and Refunds
Products may be returned within the allowed period subject to our Returns Policy.
Refunds will be processed to the original payment method or as store credit.
Returns of perishable goods or digital downloads are subject to seller terms.
5. Payments
All payments are processed securely via ZutaNow’s supported payment providers. Sellers receive payouts as scheduled by our merchant policy.
6. Content Rules
Users must not upload harmful, illegal, or misleading content.
Reviews and communications must be respectful and truthful.
ZutaNow may remove or moderate content at its sole discretion.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on ZutaNow is protected by intellectual property rights.
No part of the platform may be copied, resold, or exploited without permission.
8. Limitation of Liability
ZutaNow is not liable for:
– Delivery delays, product issues, or damages caused by sellers.
– Third-party disputes or system downtime.
ZutaNow’s maximum liability is limited to the total amount paid by a user for the transaction in dispute.
9. Indemnity
Users agree to indemnify and hold ZutaNow harmless against any claim, loss, or damage arising from breach of these terms or misuse of the platform.
10. Termination
ZutaNow reserves the right to terminate or suspend any account in breach of our policies or laws.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. All disputes shall be resolved in Nigerian courts.
